How it started . . .

On December 23, 2017, our family/friends experienced an unexpected life changing event when Jon Green was life-flighted to the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. While there, he suffered a rupture of his aorta, endured two long surgeries, and has been healing in that facility ever since. Initially, doctors advised it would take some time for Jon to wake up, but days have now turned into weeks. Family and friends have been with him everyday, waiting for Jon to wake up. Melanie is doing her best to make sure that their children, Ainsley and Dorian, have some normalcy to their lives, but this experience has taken a toll on emotions and finances.

To assist with day to day living expenses, as well as the possible expense of an extended care facility, we’ve planned a benefit concert at Tussey Mountain Pavilion for May 18th, as well as a weekend of additional planned activities. Let’s all come together to celebrate Jon, support the Greens, and ensure that this amazing family is able to care for Jon in the best way possible!

This website will be your source for all things #JSTRONG Concert Weekend. We hope you can join us!
